The Human Race has changed
The first signs of The Shift were visible through the people around us. As loved ones morphed, their bodies changing shape and build, we wondered if it was some mutation or illness. People began to compare them to the races in a fantasy story.
Most people experienced some sort of physical change, be it elongated ears, horns, shortened stature, or pointed teeth. Some changed more extremely than others, and others you could barely notice it at all.
Whilst it was almost rude to call someone an Orc or a Goblin, we quickly needed a name for what was happening. The trend caught on quickly.
A new force emerges
Whilst most of us changed into creatures from another world, others noticed something slightly different…
I guess you could describe it as an attunement of sort. In some cases it was a honing of certain senses, or that feeling of connectedness to the elements.
Those who worked with this new sense started to be able to attune to the elements. Then came the Pyromancers, the Electromancers, and others who could speak with the energies. What is truly possible - no one knows.
The struggle to survive becomes real
As the landscapes changed, our people morphed, and fey creatures appeared from seemingly nowhere. Myth quickly turned into reality. Amongst this though, another crisis arose.
Technology ceased to function.
Your television or kettle either didn’t work, or blew up in your face. Soon enough the National Grid was down, logistics had failed, and we were back in the dark ages.
Communities rose up, banding together to survive, whilst gangs and factions formed, all competing for resources.
One particular group, it turns out, is the key for survival.
A conflict to gain power emerges
The old governments of the world have survived to an extent, now clawing back what control they can.
Along with this, new groups, communities and factions rise to claim their independence and fight for survival. Conflicts arise as they compete for resources, territory, knowledge and access to technology and magic.
With all of their attempts to thrive, they are ignorant of the challenges ahead…
Meanwhile planet Earth slowly…

Whilst such colossal changes have happened, bringing the struggle for survival for all creatures on Earth, a wheel has been set in motion.
Slowly it turns - bringing more chaos in it’s wake.
A great event is coming that threatens all life on earth.
The merging of all Realms marks a key point in the timeline of a planetary alignment. This will bring destruction to all.
A new dawn for humanity is within reach, but it will need to survive, and only an alliance of man and myth can hope to prevail.
The leader of a small group, Grey, explores the mysteries of this new world, facing new threats each day.
He faces the consistent challenge of survival as he leads his people to better opportunities, fighting for a chance in this new hostile world.
Dragons, chimeras and wyverns are nothing compared to the bigger forces at play, and established entities such as ‘The Virtuous’, a corrupt government wing, creates chaos in its wake.
Along with everything that is happening in the world and within his group, Grey uncovers a greater underlying threat. Together with his companions, he must overcome the challenges that ‘The Shift’ presents.
